Government owned telecom operator, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched 2 new plans for pre-paid users with added data benefits. New plans will cost Rs. 199 and Rs. 499, which is valid for 58 days and 90 days respectively. Both these plans come with 1GB high speed data per day and unlimited voice calling. These two plans are target to the Indian Premier League (2019) matches which is starting today in country.  The pre-paid users will also get free SMS alerts about the IPL cricket matches begin played in the country.

The Rs. 199 plan comes with the validity of 28 days while Rs. 499 plan comes with the validity of 90 days. In case of Rs. 199 plan user will get unlimited calls from their own circle. But in case of Rs. 499 plan unlimited calls are available for user in all the circles.

Both these plans are with 1GB data per day, but this data is less for the users who streams IPL matches on their mobile phones. If you are in the areas where VSNL is providing 4G network then you will get good speed. If 4G networks is not available then users will get 3G speed on their mobile phones.

The good thing with both these plans is that BSNL is providing IPL updates over SMS. So, when you can’t view the matches due to various reasons you can check the status through SMS.

BSNL Rs. 199 IPL Plan details

• Cost for 28 days is Rs. 199 and it comes with the unlimited calling benefits from the home circle only.
• If you are going out of your home circle then standard calling charges will be applied.
• You will get 1GB data per day, so in total you will get 28GB high speed data.
• You will get SMS and Cricket PRBT alerts for 28 days all for free.
• Validity for this plan is 258 days

BSNL Rs. 499 IPL Plan details

• Cost of this plan is Rs. 499 and it comes with unlimited calling benefits from all the circles (national circles).
• No extra charge if you in other national circle.
• You will get 1GB Data per day for 90 days.
• You will get Cricket PRBT and SMS alerts for 90 days for free.
• This plan is valid for 90 days.

This year BSNL started adding new customers to their network and in just in January of 2019, BSNL was able to add over nine lakh new customers. This number is nine times more than what Airtel achieved in January.

The IPL 2019 fever has already started and with these offers BSNL customers will be much benefited.  These plans will allow BSNL users to view and get connected during IPL 2019 season.
