All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) urged the Muslims in India to offer the Zuhur prayers at home due to current outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid-19) in the country. The AIMPLB urged the Muslims to offer the Zuhur prayers at home instead of praying Jumah at mosques. The AIMPLB posted a message on the official account of the Board on Thursday.
The current outbreak of Covid-19 infection killed 16 people and there are over 700 confirmed cases of Coronavirus infection in the country.
All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) posted message on the Twitter account, the AIMPLB tweeted "Due to #NovelCoronavirus pandemic, Muslims are recommended to offer Zuhur at home instead of praying Jumah at mosques. DON'T come out for congregational prayers and #StayAtHomeSaveLives. It is mandatory upon all to avoid causing harm to their fellow citizens. #NoJumahInMasjid.".

"At the same time, don't leave mosques abandoned. Around 4 individuals should remain in mosques to establish the congregational prayers due to the #RightofMasjid," it said in another tweet.

Asaduddin Owaisi also urged the Muslims for offering Zuhur prayers at home, he tweeted “My appeal to all Muslims is to offer Zuhur prayers tomorrow at home & to not congregate The only way we can get ahead in this fight is by practicing social distancing & preventing larger gatherings.”
