Coronavirus USA Update: US reports 1,000 death and 85,000 confirmed cases

The total number of confirmed cases and death toll is mounting, the nation reported over 1,000 deaths and more than 85,000 cases of confirmed cases of Coronavirus infection.

According to the reports the confirmed cases of Coronavirus infection is increasing at an alarming rate. The Confirmed cases in the USA overtakes the total cases reported in China.

The United States now has the largest number of confirmed cases in the country, the US reported more than 85,500 positive tests. This count is a very large number. It is very difficult to treat such a large number of patients.

According to the latest figures the US has overtaken China (81,782 cases) and Italy (80,589).

The death toll is less than what China (3,291) and Italy (8,215) reported. Meanwhile President Donald Trump predicted that the country would get back to work "pretty quickly".

As per the reports doctors at the hospitals warn off about the shortage of supplies, beds or physicians to handle the surge in patients.

Globally more 5,00,000 people have now been confirmed with deadly Coronavirus infection. The current outbreak is very difficult to be handled by the hospitals and healthcare systems even in wealthy nations that are facing shortages of resources. Governments around the world ordered lockdowns and asked the authorities to provide all possible medical help to the patients.

During a meeting of the Group of 20 nations, the U.N. Secretary General António Guterres said that the virus is spreading exponentially around the world.  The U.N. Secretary General said that the first 100,000 cases took three months of the outbreak. He said “The next 100,000 happened in just 12 days.”  He further added “The third took four days. The fourth, just one-and-a-half.”

The fears of large scale Coronavirus infection are mounting globally, the leaders from the Group of 20 major economies held crisis talks by video link Thursday. The leaders of Group of 20 major economies pledged a “united front” to fight the outbreak. The group also discussed an enormous financial injection.
