The smartphone will hit the Chinese market on July 29. It will be powered by Samsung Exynos 880 processor and sport triple rear camera setup.
Chinese mobile phone manufacturer, Vivo launches Vivo Y51s in China, mobile will be available in Chinese market starting from 29th July.
Rather unobtrusively, Vivo has launched its Y51s in China which is set to be the company’s upcoming smartphone. It is also claimed by many experts that Vivo Y51s is a little contrasting from the Vivo Y70s. As stated by the company, Vivo Y51s will be available to customers for purchase on 29th July.
The smartphone sports a 6.53 inch full HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. The aspect ratio of the device is 19.5:9 and the pixels per inch is 394 (pixel density). Its screen to body ratio is 90.72 per cent. It weighs 190 grams and its dimensions are 162.05 x 76.61 x 8.46mm.
When it comes to performance, a 2GHz octa-core (six Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz + two Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2.0GHz) Samsung Exynos 880 processor. This chipset is coupled with 6GB of RAM which is sufficient enough for running the most demanding apps. Its graphics are handled by Mali-G76 MP5. For onboard storage, 128GB will be housed by Vivo Y51s which is sufficient enough to store majority of apps, photos and documents on a phone.
When it comes to back camera, three lenses are placed in a vertical manner. Its setup included a primary camera of 48MP that will offer aperture of f/1.79. Secondly, a depth sensor of 2MP will used that provides f/2.4 aperture. Lastly, a 2MP macro sensor is used by Vivo Y51s whose aperture is f/2.4.
The phone sports a hole-punch design which further offers a hole-punch camera for selfies of 8MP that offers aperture of f/2.05. A rear LED flash is also supported by the device.
Several camera modes like portrait, dynamic photo, panorama, slow motion, night mode and time lapse etc will act as essence of the camera and further improve and compliment their performance.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headphone slot and micro-USB port. The smartphone is a dual sim phone too.
On the front of sensors, Face unlock feature is provided with the device along with a fingerprint sensor on the side of the smartphone.
The Chinese tech giants, Vivo will release their upcoming smartphone in three different colours-- Bihailan Blue, Snow Feather White and Secret Realm Black.
The device is priced at CNY 1,798 that in Indian Rupees roughly converts to Rs 19,100. Thus, one can expect it to be launched in India around this price range only. In China, Vivo will be available for purchase on July 29.
