From July 30, it is expected that a trial version of the website will be launched. This trial period shall last till August 14.
The objective of behind this initiative is to bring tribal products to a much wider Indian and international market.
Innumerable items like home decor products, paintings, jewellery etc will be made available to the buyers.
Krishna said "This is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of an Aatma Nirbhar India'. Our motto is ''go vocal for local, go tribal''.”
Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India which performs under the Union Tribal Affairs Ministry was set up in 1987 with an intend to ensure that such artisans are offered reasonable prices for their goods.
Inborn craftsmans will be prepared, educated and requested to enlist themselves as venders on the site.
