Google is ready to bring back the most loved turtle emoji which was first introduced by Android 7.1
Throughout the years, Google has been known to make tons of changes on Android so as to improve it. Therefore, emojis as a result are updated by the American giants too. One such emoji was of a turtle that was removed by the organisation in one of its update. This turtle emoji was a big hit among the Android users as it was very bewitching. It was introduced as a part of the Android 7.1 which was launched on 20th October in 2016. Thus, when this blob was removed, the fans were upset and they took to Twitter where they protested by using this hashtag #bringbacktheblobs.
Now, with certain features of Android 11 being leaked, it was reported that Google is set to bring back the popular turtle emoticon that was once available with Android Nougat.
The emoticon was so popular because the turtle had a captivating smile on its face and featured tiny legs, face and tails.
However, this emoji was updated in Android 10 Oreo and a new turtle blob was introduced. This emoji was not as popular as one would expect it to be as it did not trigger the same emotions that the Android 7.1 turtle did.
Other than the turtle emoji, Google will also roll out the old frog emoji that was a part of Android 7.1. It is to be kept in mind that these emoticons will not exactly be the same as tiniest variance will be exist.
Other animal emojis that will be introduced are of a dog, fox, pig, octopus and cat etc.
In related news, Google will also launch new emojis for certain different sections. Like under ‘Food and Drink’ section, blueberries, olive teapot will be included.
Wood, rock hut, roller skates etc will be introduced for ‘Travel’ section.
For ‘Objects’ sections, helmet, toothbrush, bucket, ladder, screw driver and coin etc will be included.
