Jammu and Kashmir Updates: Authorities asked tourists to leave Jammu and Kashmir latest by Monday

Authorities have asked Hotels to tell Tourists to leave Jammu and Kashmir latest by Monday morning even if they don’t have tickets. As per the authorities they will arrange to get tourists out from Jammu and Kashmir. Government will take care of tourists travel from Srinagar airport.

Friday evening was seen preparing as ground forces were reportedly told to be ready for Valley-wide clampdown within the next 24 hours.

There is no official information from Government of India about what is going to happen, as per the previous reports security has been increased to save citizens from Terrorists attacks. As per the previous briefing by Indian forces, terrorist are planning to carry out large scale attack to disturb peace process.

After Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) government's security advisory on Friday, tourists and pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra already going out from Jammu and Kashmir. The J&K Governor Satya Pal Malik said that there is no need to panic.

Due to sudden tourist flow out of Jammu airlines fairs go up, but now Air India is offering a fair of around Rs. 6,715 from Srinagar to Delhi. Air India fair from Delhi to Jammu is Rs. 6,899 from Delhi to Jammu.

The J&K Governor Satya Pal Malik urged political leaders in valley not to believe in rumours and there is no need to be in panic. He further said that there is no plan to abrogate Article 35A.

Amid tension in Jammu and Kashmir, Secretary General of Kalhana Society Satish Mahaldar said that the it’s important to assure minority communities living in Kashmir.

Satish Mahaldar said in a statement "The minorities fear that certain vested interests and evil designed efforts may be targeted against them. Hence, the request is to the government but more to the common people, as well as the religious and political leaders to send messages of assurance to the minorities in order to allay their fears."

According to the Aviation ministry Airlines agreed to put a cap on airfare to a from Srinagar.

Ministry of Civil Aviation said in a statement, "Heeding to the advice of Minister Hardeep Puri, airlines have agreed to take steps to put cap on airfare to and from Srinagar. Air India has reduced fares to Rs 6,715 for Srinagar to Delhi flights and Rs 6,899 Delhi to Srinagar till August 15.
